Carr House Allotment Association become a social enterprise in 2005 and registered with Companies House as a limited company in April of that year.

​

​Two members of the Association, who lived locally were appointed Company Directors. The Association Secretary was appointed Company Secretary. 

 

​Presently, one of the original Directors remain, as does the Company Secretary.

Being a Social Enterprise, chase doncaster reinvests funds in its infrastructure and redistributes any surpluses.

 

It is an employer (at one time employing six people). Chase doncaster always aims to improve its services while remaining competitively priced.

​

​Chase doncaster is an experienced community development organisation. It has tried and tested systems of work in place.

It is envisaged that within the next phase of community development for chase doncaster, Trust status and community share ownership are models to explore.

​

The aim will be to empower the community, to give it a voice, to work for the beneficiaries. 

​

​That exploration can start here, it's integral to the discussion.
